About

Ann John, MD

Dr. Ann John is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. She practices medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology, with a special focus on skin cancer removal through Mohs surgery and facial reconstruction. Dr. John was a member of the prestigious accelerated BA/MD program with Rutgers University and Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where she graduated at the top of her class. She was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society during medical school. She then pursued residency in Dermatology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. After this, she pursued an additional fellowship in Mohs surgery for skin cancer removal, facial reconstruction, and cosmetic surgery under renowned leaders in the field at Skin Laser and Surgery Specialists of NY and NJ. She is dedicated to scholarly advancement of the field, with over 50 peer-reviewed publications on dermatologic surgery and cosmetic surgery in top dermatology journals. She has also presented her research at national dermatology meetings. In her free time, Dr. John enjoys spending time with her husband and son.
